Grant Highlights: Donors Making A Positive Difference

At NPT UK, we strive to help our donors make a positive difference through their philanthropy and ensure that their charitable ambitions are fulfilled.

Here are three examples of how grants from our DAF donors are making a difference:

Cost of Living

Those already struggling to make ends meet will feel the strongest impact of the cost-of-living crisis in the U.K. We have helped our donors make grants amounting to £6,000 to support foodbanks across the U.K. who are working tirelessly to tackle food poverty ahead of the winter months.

Climate Change and Woodland Conservation

Woodland areas are critical for maintaining biodiversity and combatting climate change. With 13% of the U.K. covered in woodland, we were delighted to facilitate a grant of £1 million with the purpose of protecting domestic woodlands, helping to create a greener future for the U.K.

Working with Refugees

Ukraine continues to show incredible resilience and determination in face of the Russian invasion. However, with more than ten million estimated to have fled their homes, humanitarian support is still greatly important in the country. An NPT UK donor recently made a grant of nearly £8,000 towards shelter, food and other essentials in Poland for its Ukraine Refugee Project.
